Danielle Gibson is a 17 year old senior at Prairie Ridge High School. In July of 2007, Danielle was diagnosed with are form of cancer. Danielle is driven into Chicago on a daily basis for chemotherapy treatments at both Children's Memorial and Northwestern Hospitals. Danielle looks forward to her recovery, high school graduation and attending college for the pursuit of a degree in either graphic or culinary arts.
     

Danielle has one brother named Denny who is 23 years old. Her father Dennis works as a carpenter and her mother Wanda has left her job to stay home and care for Danielle.

Some of Danielle's hobbies include snowmobiling and painting.
