Hi Brent,
All I can say is WOW. . . I
had a great time with Captain Dave on Addiction Charters
today.
"A few
weeks back I entered a drawing that Angler911.com is
sponsoring for a high school student who has a rare form
of cancer in his nervous system. There isn't a known
cure as this kid has already had two very serious
surgeries and has gone back and forth to the Mayo Clinic
and University of Texas. The drawing for angler911.com
was for $20.00, all of which went to the family to help
offset some of the costs. Captain Dave (Addiction
Charters) told me today this drawing raised $540.00 for
the family.
Captain
Dave volunteered five hours of Coho Salmon fishing on
Addiction Charters out of North Point Marina. I met with
Captain Dave at 6:00 A.M. with three friends and by 7:45
A.M. we had our limit of 20 fish.
We began
setting up right outside the harbor and went
approximately 60-70 feet out. Trolling back to the
harbor we added three more fish. For the day, we landed
23 of 28 hooked fish. Most were caught on down riggers
set behind the boat. We caught fish on green and blue
flies.
Jeff,
Kevin, Chris and myself had a blast fishing out there
today. It was a bit choppy with solid three-footers and
winds coming from the east. However on a 33-foot boat,
it was not an issue.
A big
thanks to Captain Dave for donating a charter trip!"
